I have always loved animals and have been working with them since I was a young child. I enjoy watching dogs think and seeing them problem solve. I tailor my training to match the dog and I teach at the dog's pace. I am compassionate, understanding, and strive to set dogs and owners up for success.
I am a certified dog trainer, and I continue to learn so I can provide owners with the tools they need to teach their dog. Just like our dogs, we are always learning.
I focus on teaching owners how to communicate with their dog, to learn how their dog communicates, and to build a lasting relationship.
All dogs are different, learning how your dog communicates and processes information is an important part of training.
The Power of Choice
Dogs don't automatically know how to live in a human world, it is up to us to teach and guide them. We do this by teaching them behaviors we like and guide them to make the choice to use those behaviors.
Dog behavior isn't necessarily bad or good in our dog's mind. It is the behavior that works for the dog, lets guide them to more appropriate behaviors.
